John Consiglio, Design Engineer / Physicist , & Jason Poure Industrial Designer,  founded Neon Labs in 2022 after leading the hardware design group at Peloton. Driven to make great products and experiences for people we aim to help partners make this a repeatable process for their business. Neon Labs works internationally, providing consulting services for hardware product development, roadmap planning and building effective design teams. We draw from our experiences releasing product in a variety of industries to help growing companies launch and support their products.

Jason Poure
Co-Founder & Principal Industrial Designer

With over 20 years experience Jason is a builder of industrial design and hardware organizations that create holistic design solutions for a wide range of problems. He was responsible for using design to create the physical brand identity for Peloton’s suite of connected fitness products as well as creating a visual brand Identity for multiple global brands. An award-winning designer with more than ten patents, Jason led Industrial design teams to receive three Red Dot Awards, the Core 77 Design Award and was an IDSA finalist.

John Consiglio
Co-Founder & Principal Mechanical Engineer

John is an experienced product design engineer and manager specializing in new technologies and working with complex global supply chains. As a product development engineer and manager he has designed and brought to market innovative products in the medical, consumer electronics and connected hardware industries. As an engineering leader John has implemented successful cross functional product development processes while also growing team size and capabilities.

Alex Chatham Lead Industrial Designer

Alex Chatham is an Industrial Designer based in Vermont. He was born and raised in New York, studied ID at RISD and car design in Turin, Italy. He has been in love with human made objects for his entire life. The things that we create and connect with. The tools that improve our lives and objects that make them easier and give them fulfillment. He has been a student of purpose, meaning and design as he continually makes things and evolve his contribution to the conversations that he finds meaningful.

He enjoys searching for solutions to problems. From kitchen tools to electronics. Cars to packaging. He strives to create the right solution to connect people to products and brands. He bring his love of design process, history, research, and great products to everything that he does. He believes that design has an imperative to improve people’s lives and provide great experiences.

Eric Hwang Principal Creative Director

Eric Hwang is a creative director and designer who works with companies of all shapes and sizes to craft their brands, products and interfaces. His designs for Peloton, ranging from the logo to the bike interface, established much of the design language used across the connected fitness industry. Eric especially enjoys working with early stage companies to create their visual identities, and distilling complex and data-intensive applications into elegant, intuitive interfaces.

Becca del Monte Lead Mechanical Engineer

Becca is a mechanical engineer who specializes in practical, hands-on solutions and effective communication with manufacturers. Her experience creating affordable, robust kitchen tools at OXO has translated into recent work providing mechanical design, sourcing and manufacturing support to clients in the robotics, smart device and consumer electronics industries. She works with teams including electrical, firmware and tooling engineers to create reliable products that fulfill design requirements and meet user needs.

Dan Formosa Ph.D. Think Act Human - Human factors and usability

Dan consults with companies and organizations worldwide on design and innovation. An early proponent of “design for all” (a.k.a. Inclusive Design), he also lectures internationally on research and the future of design. He established his company ThinkActHuman with the goal of design for a better world. Dan holds degrees in product design, ergonomics and biomechanics. In addition to ThinkActHuman he co‑founded 4B Collective, focused on design and gender, and co-founded the Masters in Branding program at the School of Visual Arts in New York.
